Frog Pond - Cool Animals, Cool Game

Lily Pads of Doom!

The Lily Pads of Doom (LPoD) are mysterious, magical Lily Pads from an Enchanted Pond. When one of these special Lily Pads Sinks, it lets off a burst of magical energy; sometimes helpful, sometimes harmful, always fun.

This Expansion uses all of the basic Rules and may be used with any other Frog Pond Expansion. If any rules contradict each other, then use Rule from the highest numbered Expansion takes precedence.

LPoD Special Instructions: When a Lily Pads Sinks, read and follow the instructions on the LPoD. If two or more Lily Pads Sink, the Active Player decides which LPoD’s effect occurs, Only one effect occurs.

LPoD with Stars: Lily Pads that have Stars on them may be kept by a Player and played at any time. All other LPoD must be played immediately...even if its effect hurts you.

Standard Rules still apply. For example, two Frogs may not occupy the same Lily Pad.

Lily Pads of Doom!
List

Chameleon (2): You’re seeing things. Switch places with another Frog.
* Dragon Fly (2): Rescued! For now. Opponent moves your Frog to a different Lily Pad. May be played to save you from a Sinking Lily Pad.
Drought (2): May play a Lily Pad as long as it touches 2 other Lily Pads. If it can’t, you don’t.
Flood (2): Replace two LPoD with two Lily Pads from the Draw Pile.
Mosquito (2): Opponent must Leap next turn.
Hurricane (1): Make up to 2 legal Slides. These Slides may not cause any Lily Pads to Sink.
* Life Boat (1): Rescued! You move your Frog to a different Lily Pad. May be played to save you from a Sinking Lily Pad.
Snapping Turtle (3): Place the Snapping Turtle on any unoccupied Lily Pad. The Lily Pad on which the Snapping Turtle rests may not be Leaped to. If there are no legal Lily Pads on which to place the Snapping Turtle, then ignore this effect.
Springtime (2): Add three Lily Pads to the Pond.
Swamp Gas (2): Opponent may not Leap next turn.
Tar Pit (1): You’re stuck! You may not Leap until the turn after you Sink a Lily Pad.
Will o’ Wisp (2): Randomly pick an unused LPoD and play it as if it was just Sunk.  You collect the Will o' Wisp and the Lily Pad you play from the Draw Pile.

In the Pond...No one can hear you Croak!
